Understanding the Store Visits Graph

Track and compare foot traffic trends over time for individual stores and competitive sets.

What is the Store Visits Graph?

The Store Visits graph in Almanac gives retailers a powerful way to analyze foot traffic trends over time. It helps you understand how a specific store is performing and compare that performance to previous time periods or to competitive benchmarks. This is particularly useful for identifying patterns, evaluating initiatives, and driving better decisions based on store performance.

Where to Find It

You’ll find the Store Visits graph in the Places section under the Analytics pages.

Note: This layout is part of the Almanac 2.0 navigation, which is being gradually rolled out across the platform.

Example Use Case

Imagine you manage a store that recently hosted a promotional event. By using the Store Visits graph:

  • You can view traffic in the 90-day period around the event
  • Layer in a comparison with last year’s traffic to understand how much the event shifted behavior
  • Add a competitive benchmark to see if the uplift was unique to your store or part of a broader mall-wide trend
This kind of analysis helps validate strategies and guide future actions.
